Sree Narayana Guru was a Saint, Philosopher and social reformer who lived in Kerala State of South India. The Guru’s uniqueness was that he also applied his philosophy in a practical way for the betterment of people. Some of the main contribution of Guru’s are :- Masterminded the most peaceful social revolution the world has ever seen. Organised the second world conference of all religions. Eradicated the cast system, which was far fiercer than the apartheid system in South Africa.

Brought freedom of prayer, Education etc to millions of the under privileged in Kerala, who was also the majority.

Kerala now has 100% literacy rate, only state in India to have this – This is due to the social revolution of the Guru.

Kerala now has the highest proportion of well-educated people in the world.

Kerala is the only state in India where people of different religions and creed live in peace and harmony – This is due to the social revolution and teachings of the Guru.

Mahatma Gandhi visited the Guru and took inspiration from the Guru to fight for the upliftment of harijans.

Guru has written numerous materials on philosophy.

Guru has re-started the Advaita Philosophy of the Upanishads in terms understandable to the mind of the age of science.
